Event Ticket Sales Policy
Introduction
This Event Policy ("Policy"), together with the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, governs your registration and purchase of a ticket(s) for in-person and/or online conferences (each, a “Conference”) hosted or brought to you by Kolena Inc. ("Kolena," "we," "us," or "our"), including AIQCon 2024, the premier AI Quality Conference brought to you by Kolena and MLOps.community in San Francisco, CA, on June 25, 2024 ("AIQCon 2024").
This Policy is subject to, and forms a part of, Kolena’s Terms and Conditions. By registering or purchasing a ticket for a Conference, you ("you," "your," or "User") agree to be bound by this Policy, the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Policy, do not register or purchase a ticket for a Conference. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace this Policy at any time.
Eligibility
Conferences are available only to individuals who are at least 18 years old. By registering or purchasing a ticket for a Conference, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.
Ticket Purchase and Registration
Purchasing Tickets
Tickets for a Conference must be purchased through the official website for the Conference or authorized partners. Prices and ticket availability are subject to change without notice.
All ticket purchases are subject to availability and acceptance by us. The purchase of a ticket to a Conference grants you the right to attend the Conference on the date(s) and in the location(s) set forth on the ticket. With respect to AIQCon 2024, the purchase of a ticket grants you the right to attend the conference in San Francisco, CA, on June 25, 2024.
Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase. You will receive confirmation of your ticket purchase and registration via email.
We use a third party (the “Payment Processor”) to facilitate the collection of payments for ticket purchases. By purchasing a ticket, you will be subject to the terms, conditions and privacy policies of the Payment Processor. Currently, we use HubSpot, Inc. as our Payment Processor. You can access HubSpot’s Terms of Use at https://legal.hubspot.com/checkout-termsofuse and Privacy Policy at https://legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy. We are not responsible for any error by, or other acts or omissions of, the Payment Processor. By choosing to purchase a ticket, you agree to pay us, through the Payment Processor, to charge your chosen payment provider (your “Payment Method”). You agree to make payment using that selected Payment Method.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
If you wish to cancel your registration for a Conference, you must do so in writing by emailing info@aiqualityconference.com. With respect to AIQCon 2024, cancellations received before May 25, 2024, will receive a 75% refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after May 25, 2024.
We reserve the right to cancel a Conference for any reason, including due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event of such a cancellation, registered attendees will receive a full refund of the registration fee or the option to transfer the ticket to a future Conference. The foregoing refund right constitutes registrants’ sole and exclusive remedy, and Kolena’s sole and exclusive liability, in connection with a canceled Conference. If a Conference is postponed, rescheduled, or moved, registrants’ tickets will be valid for the new date or location and we will email registrants to notify them of available refund options, if any, for such Conference.
For the avoidance of doubt, in no event shall Kolena be responsible for reimbursing travel, accommodation, or any other expenses incurred by the registrants in connection with a Conference that has been canceled, postponed, rescheduled, or moved.
Any refunds owed pursuant to the foregoing refund policy will be made to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Please allow up to 30 days for the refund process to be completed.
Except as expressly set forth herein, all ticket sales are nonrefundable.
Information Collection and Use
We collect information that you provide to us when you register for a Conference, which may include your name, email address, company affiliation, and position. This information is used to process your registration, provide you with Conference updates, and for event planning and management. Such information may also be shared with third-party service providers to help us run the Conferences. Collection, use and sharing of personal data is subject to our Privacy Policy.
Governing Law
This Policy shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
